The Legend of King
Arthur
|
Scheduled for August 2002, this event will be taking place at Dover Castle. Written by Bob Greenhalgh, and special effects by Stuart Webb, this production is planned to incorporate spectacle and magic. Imagine the scene - after a journey in which the audience has witnessed the history of Arthur unfold before them - travels upon which they themselves have learned the skills they need to become a Knight of the Round Table, they find themselves standing before the enemies' tent. The final battle between Mordred and Arthur is played out as the performances denouement. Broadswords clash under the summer sky and.... well, I don't want to give too much away! With original music by Richard Flahant composed especially for this event, whether armory and archery, myth and magic, dragons and damsels, or romance and round tables are your particular 'cup of mead', there is something here for everyone. The battle between good and evil has never been such fun! |

"Stop the World, I want to Get." (Working Title) |
2002 sees the Crew of Patches moving into a new media. As you read this, the script is being completed, actors are being recruited and locations are secured for a new project which will see the Crew launching themselves into the world of film. A comedy escapade involving, funnily enough, a group of out of work actors, is proving an exciting step. The script writer has conjured up what she describes as a cross between Ealing Comedy and Kevin Smith. Intriguing. | |||||||||
